Title: Headset headaches

I just purchased tv, PS4 slim 1TB, gt sport, and finally cross hair converter.  Great product by the way. I have a G 27 wheel.  I want to purchase a headset.  I have done some research and from what I gather.  The PS4 slim should not have any issues with a party chat, but when I use the ear/mic piece that came with PS4 slim, plugged into controller, it does not work.  If I buy the BENGOO G9000 Stereo Gaming Headset for PS4 from amazon will I have the same problem? Sorry if I missed the thread that has probably answered this question.  Thanks for your time.

are you sure your ps4 original headset can work properly with the ps4 slim controller while it's in wireless mode without Cross Hair?

Good point, I did not verify that yet.
