Title: firmware for nintendo switch or for all the consoles?

Why are there two versions of firmwares? one for nintendo switch and others for other consoles if you download the nintendo switch I will not have to use the other consoles or it slows down all the consoles including also the nintendo switch

to support a completely new console, there will be tons of new codes,
Cross Hair have no sufficient space to store all these by now.
