Power Supply
« on: April 01, 2022, 08:52:06 PM »
What?s the best way to supply power to the Reasnow for people who want to use LED keyboard, mouse and controller taking a lot of power?   Can you power all 3 before the reasnow and plug into 1 port on reasnow or do you power after the reasnow using the USB A?  Sometimes my reasnow shuts down due to LED taking too much power.

If the problem occurs like this then you should buy a USB hub with a 10W power supply. I have the Sharkoon Skiller SGK30 and am using the Razer Basilisk V2, Logitech G503 Hero and the Corsair Nightsword RGB with no problems. Try using a USB hub as described above.

Ok, so if I get a 3 port, am I plugging the 3 devices into the Hub then into 1 port of Reasnow or are you plugging the reasnow into the hub?

Reasnow S1 does not have the same problems as Xim Apex. With Xim Apex you need an external power supply. With Reasnow S1 you don't need an extra USB hub. Try it. Controller in USB 1, keyboard in USB 2 and mouse in USB 3. Then connect the S1 to the console. Reasnow S1 is much better than Xim at such things.

Sounds good.  Only trying to prepare for my BeLoader setup.  They say the PS5 controller sucks up a lot of power.  Just want to have all my bases covered.

The following video works without a USB hub with an external power supply. I'm not familiar with loaders because I have an XB Series X/S. Here is the link to the video:
