logitech X52 pro hotas for Ace Combat 7 PS4 setup
« on: April 29, 2021, 03:57:28 AM »
Hi all, this is my first post as proud & happy owner of an S1! I was able to map roll and pitch and the buttons, but I‘m struggling with throttle and yaw. These are buttons on the PS Controller (L1,2,R1,2) but of course continuous controls on the x52pro. The twist (yaw) and throttle signals show in the IO indicator, but I can‘t map them. Any suggestions? BTW I also tried to map a titanwolf vulture and here throttle and twist didn‘t even register with IO. Flying is super smooth, but without rudder & throttle it‘s incomplete.

Thanks for purchasing ReaSnow S1!
to provide better support for you,
please answer the following questions as many as possible.

1. ReaSnow S1 firmware version/ APP version
2. which config has been activated in ReaSnow S1?
3. a video to show us your trouble will be better
you can upload the video to youtube or other file-sharing servers, and send us the link.

Thanks, but after a little fiddling I managed to map the x52pro to AC7 - only the flares are missing, but who needs flares;) For the record, there‘s a slider -j32- on the throttle that just won‘t stay put, it‘s always transmitting something, which makes it a little awkward to map other controls. The axes eventually worked out fine, but as others have noted, AC 7 has a huuuuge deadzone around the x/y axes so at the end of the day, the TMHOTAS4 is better suited for this game...although it‘s not really comparable to the x52pro!

Thanks for sharing your experiences!
and good to know you have made some progress there:)
we do need to take some more time to play happily with a flight stick.

1. for the j32 issue, can you send some screenshots of that to us? maybe we can help with that.
2. and if the deazone is too big, please try reducing the third-party controller deadzone in our APP.
