PS5 config and setup
« on: March 14, 2021, 08:59:48 PM »
Hello, I would like to buy a reasnow s1, but first I have a question to ask.

With the crosshair and the playstation 4, I played with the DS4 in the side USB and the mouse in the front right USB port. In order to use the controller to move with the left analog and the muose with 8 keys to aim and do the rest.

Now that I have purchased a Playstation 5, I would like to know if it is possible to connect hori minipad to the side usb port, a DS4 or Dualsense 5 to the left front usb port for movement (with analog stick) and the mouse to the right side usb port to aim?

Basically i want to use controller and mouse not keyboard and mouse

Thanks for the support

Edit: Obviously I would buy the S1 to use it with the PS5.

Hi guys, S1 arrived yesterday and after 24 hours of testing here is my review.
For those who do not want to read everything, I summarize in two simple words: ALL PERFECT.

My order consisted of the S1, the Hori MiniPad and an external sound card for Ps5.
Once I arrived, I immediately updated the firmware to the latest version via the flashtool.

I turned on the PlayStation, I deactivated the communication via bluetooth of the controller and set that via cable.

The S1 setup is as follows:
S1 connected to playstation via the rear usb.
Hori Pad connected to the side USB port of the S1. While in the two front USB the mouse with 8 keys are connected on the right (these I have previously programmed from the mouse application to represent some keys of the keyboard such as Q, E or SpaceBar etc ...) and on the left a Dualsense ( a DS4 also works).

By connecting S1 to the Playstation, I activated the application on the mobile phone using Bluetooth GPS and immediately the match between the mobile phone and S1 took place.
I preset the first profile by selecting warzone and this is the result of the home screen.

Once this is done, it is possible to modify the loaded profile, selecting for each key of the controller the respective key to be used. As you can see from my configuration, I use the whole left part of the controller from the controller itself, while the right part is moved on the mouse with the 8 programmed keys.

Depending on the type of scenario, it is also possible to change the sensitivity and configuration of the keys.

Then I set the only key that I had left free of the mouse as the hotkey of the rapid fire macro that I put in group 0 in order to be always active.

As for the anti recoil macros I still have to study how to make them perfect. This is because once created they work quite well, but if I make corrections to the aim by moving the mouse while they are in use, I get uneven movements.
You probably need to tweak the advanced settings slightly (bottom of Photo 4)

In conclusion it works really really well and I am very satisfied.
Both with Ps4 games and with Ps5 games.
To talk in the party you need an external sound card because if you connect the headphones to the Dualsense or DS4 jack, it will disconnect.

I only have one question for Richard.
From the TBD1 scenario I have set that when I hold down the left arrow of the controller the sensitivity becomes maximum to move faster with the parachute. However, the movement is still slow. Could you tell me if I'm wrong something?

Hello,
Thanks for purchasing our product and sharing your experience with all!
And you really did read the how-to manual carefully,
everything has been done and prepared as it should be:)

as for your question, holding the left arrow of your controller will surely activate this TBD1 scenario,
and at the same time, please keep your mouse moving as long as possible,
that means you should not move it too fast, move at a slow or medium speed.
for even right stick is pushed to its MAX, the turning speed on the screen is still very low,
what you need is more time to keep this turning.

Hi. Thanks for the post. But why dont you just use a sony nav, if you are only using one half of the controller.
Thats what I do, and it works perfectly.

btw, in TBD 1, PLEASE restore YX ratio and MIN speed to defaults,
and if smoothness is set to MAX, it will improve your control while parachuting.
