ps2 analog controller right stick

Hi,
it is possible to map a left / right stick of a ps2 analog controller? i tried but seems to be unrecognized and nothing happen.

i tried different gamepads ps2/ps3/ps4 and it is impossible to map the left / right stick to X or Square (for example) . Any suggestion?

ps3/ps4 controller is in our support list,
but why will you need to map the stick to X or Square button?

I bought on ebay this rare Japanese motorcycle controller Hori superbike controllerfor PS2:

to drive the motorbikes on gta v and on moto racer 4 in vr but the throttle lever is set as the right stick left direction while the brake lever is the right stick right direction. I need to map them with R2 (accelerator) and L2 (brake), the other buttons also work perfectly on the Reasnow Crosshair. Only the right/left stick  cannot be mapped.

sorry i mean the throttle lever is set as the right stick UP direction while the brake lever is the right stick DOWN direction

Hi, just got a reply from our R&D team,
only ReaSnow S1 can support mapping sticks(analog ones) to triggers(alalog ones) or buttons.

and if your Cross Hair is compatible with V4 Manager,
