Battlefield 5 macros on Reasnow S1 (remark+question)
« on: October 26, 2019, 10:34:43 PM »
Hello Richard,
I hope you are doing well.

Yesterday my new reasnow S1 arrived and I have started testing it in different games with variable settings.

I must say it's a very very good quality product no lag no delay all games I have tried so far run perfectly and smooth.
Since today morning I've focused on testing Battlefield 5 and found some strange things that I do not understand yet.

First thing was that I had to lower the Y/X ratio from 4 to  2 because the horizontal movements were quite sensitive and unplayable to be honest, besides in the game the "soldier zoom aim sensitivity" (ADS) had to be reduced from 200% to 115% however the recommended adjustment when I chose the game is 200% but the aiming was very sensitive even though I lowered the ADS sensitivity in the Manager App to 0.01. Now it works great with my Logitech G403 mouse I use on 500 polling rate and 4000 DPI.

I've been curious how macros operate in this game moreover I have not found any instruction video or gameplay or review neither here nor on Youtube in regard to BFV just in case of Apex Legends or COD Black Ops series.

When I open the macro editor there are two options of macro Anti recoil and Common. As I have experienced the Anti Recoil does not work at all however I did everything I could based on user manual.

I gave a trial with MP28
macro type: Anti Recoil
switching key: 7
hotkey: mouse Left,
Mode: Hold
Terminated Immediately.
Group: 1

R2(100)
RS(0-36)

It has no effect at all as if macro would not have turned on.

But if I use the settings with macro type "Common"  it works.
What is the difference between them ? should type Anti  Recoil work or I might have missed something?

The other experience is the anti recoil macros behavior in BFV.
Based on the macro reviews of Reasnow S1 on Youtube in other games like COD BO Apex Legends etc... I've set the proper adjustment in front of a wall till the bullets impact to the same point. I have tried this adjustment in different distances and I always have to use other adjustment. In BFV some weapons have quite strong recoil.
I experienced that macros work well only if I shot horizontally with a weapon but when an enemy at the same distance lying on the ground and I have to aim and shot for example at an angle of 45 degrees to hit him... the macro works differently and pulls down from the target.  The other case when the enemy is at the window and I try to shot him at the same distance the same macro which worked well horizontally now pulls up from the target.

It is like the mouse movements could have an effect the macros behavior or have I something done wrong ?
How could it be done more usable?

Ingame settings:
Soldier aim sensitivity 100%
Soldier Zoom aim sensitivity on 115%%
Stick Aiming Acceleration: 0%
Uniform Soldier Aiming: OFF
Coefficient: 133%

Thank you in advance

yes, we provided the game setting recommendations and some preset,
but you can change them according to your like.
gamers will have different preferences while playing games.

as for your trouble with anti recoil macro,

better to try our latest version first: firmware V5.3.18, APP V1.2.22

if the trouble can't be solved.
please export the config you are using,
and send it to our email: support@reasnow.com

all your tests are based on MP28, right?

I use the version you also suggested but the issue still exists.
When the device arrived I started with the necessary steps like upgrading the latest firmware and installing the latest version of application. I have been a reasnow user since years but now the old crosshair has been replaced :).

For today I finished the testing of macros of Battlefield 5 in which i tried several weapons.
I sent you all the rsm extract via mail in regard to those weapons which I experienced malfunction.
Unfortunately none of them works if I set the macro type "anti recoil" only in common version.
In case of semi automatic weapons like Turner Smile or Gewer 43 the rapid fire works with RS Down however in many cases macros worked incorrectly if I did not shot horizontally but angle of other digrees.

Thank you Richard,

Today I experienced the same issue in Battlefield 4.
I was able to create macros on the same way like in BF5 because anti recoil macros could be created only if the macro type was common.

we found some issues in your config:
1. "A" is mapped to L2 in your config and you should use "A" as hotkey for ADS scenario.
or all your settings in ADS scenario will not be activated.
2. Anti Recoil will only be activated when ADS scenario is enabled,
so that is why you have no anti-recoil effect when the macro type is set to anti recoil.
3. no need to set a hotkey for HIP scenario.
By default, HIP and its settings will be effective.
And once ADS scenario is released, ReaSnow S1 will return to HIP too.

some corrections are made in your config,
please download the attached file.
try it and provide your feedback!

Thank you Richard,

As I presumed that was my mistake.
I downloaded the file you attached on the phone but the config file doesn't show up when i click the import config option however I click the file and try to open with the application. The Manager app opens but the file does not get to the proper folder from where the app could detect it i guess.   Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime ... if it matters something but I may forget something again.

By the way I did that adjustment you suggested and now works fine. The macros behavior is much better in each position. Thank you for your help I appreciate it much.
Apart from that if you know any solution how I could import the rsc file on another way than I tried would be useful.

Hi Eitamanaus,
In that rsc file you can find all the macros I created which  can work better now because Richard fixed my settings.  Unfortunately I have to  create all the macros one by one or adjust them one by one again because I am not able to import that rsc file for some reason it doesn't show up in that folder from where the app could detect.

Apart from that I had seen your videos on Youtube about Reasnow S1 before I also bought. I just want to say ..however it's up to you .. Macros make the gameplay easier but they should be used gingerly.
Please be aware that using macros in an online game is an off-limits area so I advise you not show off with them in Youtube or face the consequences besides on the same nickname you use in  the game and Youtube.

Hi Richard, do you have anti recoil configuration for STG44 3x?  3x scop for automatic weapons!

Hello  Richard,  :)

Could you suggest any solution for the following issue below ?

During the gameplay when I  turn on a macro after a while the vertical and horizontal movement speed multiply.
It feels like the DPI would have jumped to 12000 or something like that however I use it on 4000. Sometimes the turning speed unpredictable because a small movement with the mouse causes a huge turn. I don't really understand why because the problem doesn't arise at once, usually after one hour gameplay suddenly all movements go crazy.

I have tried to disconnect the S1 and reboot the console but in vain.
Have you met this or similar issue like this ?

Thank you in advance

here are some suggestions for you:
1. In ReaSnow S1, remove all other unnecessary configs, leave 1 config in it.
2. In mouse, save 1 profile.

if you can't fix it, please provide us the followings:
1. export and send us your config in ReaSnow S1
2. some screenshots of your mouse settings

please send these to support@reasnow.com
