Help Setting Up Reasnow Crosshair with my Nintendo Switch
« on: June 28, 2018, 09:25:30 AM »
I read all the instructions on the PDF for setting up the switch. For some reason I still can't get it to work.
Some solutions I already tried were:
Only plugging in my keyboard in the "Console Nickname" to see if it works, I could type. So I unplugged it plugged it back in the reasnow and plugged the reasnow back in the hub (bottom left) still nothing. The Reasnow's light is breathing to signal that it's working but it actually isn't. I repeatedly tried turning the console on and off the see if that worked, to no avail. I could send a video, so someone who is a specialist can help me. I just bought this for my switch and I can't believe how hard it is to set up.

● Nintendo Switch Setup
1. Update Switch firmware to V5.1.0 or above
2. System Setitings -> Controllers and Sensors -> Pro Controller Wired Communication = ON
3.Turn off Auto Sleep
Auto-Sleep(Playing on Console Screen) = Never
Auto-Sleep(Connected to TV) = Never

● Game Setup
Splatoon 2:
Motioin Control = OFF
Sensitivity = 5(MAX)

● Cross Hair Setup
1. Make sure there is no peripheral plugged into Cross Hair.
Then connect Cross Hair to PC, using the USB cable included in the package.
  The LOGO should be white.
2. Download "Cross Hair ManagerV4.5.25", extract the zip file and run the Manager.(Windows Only)
3. Add "Splatoon 2" config in Cross Hair and set one as the “Startup” config in SWITCH’s UI
You can edit config by double click on it or leave it as default.
4. Save and close the Manager. Detach Cross Hair from PC.
5. Prepare the mouse and game.
(Mouse DPI=MAX, 5000DPI or above, Game Look Sensitivity=MAX)
6. Firstly, connect keyboard and mouse to USB PORT2 and 3 of Cross Hair,
then connect Cross Hair to Nintendo Switch.
A breathing color means it's working well.

PS. When cross hair is breathing, press "c" on your keyboard 3 times,
which is binded to "A" of SWITCH controller.

Hello,
I had a similar issue, where mine was controller assignment issue. After all was configured on reasnow manager i plugged on switch and it was working on home screen but once game was loaded it stopped working. I figured it out. You have to launch the game using the reasnow inputs otherwise it will register your joycons as controller 1 and 2 for keyboard/mouse. That is what worked for me. Had to figure it out on myself since my post on this forum was never answered. pshhh

if our previous technical support is not as fast as it should be, we are so sorry for that.
will try out best to improve it in the future.

as for you current problem, it might be caused by an active SWITCH PRO controller,
for cross hair will work as a PRO controller, if there is another active one.

the game will only accept the wireless working PRO controller.
