there are 2 possibilities:
1. there is no need of upgrade for your cross hair, you can use V4.X.X directly
2. your cross hair can't be upgraded, you can only use V1.X.X

why my crosshair cant? now i cant play on switch it says that i need upgrade

when did you buy this cross hair?
some old cross hair can only use V1.X.X

If your hardware version is V1.7.6, it can be upgraded, of course.
