what is the best dpi?
« on: June 07, 2018, 10:57:08 PM »
I know it's an old topic but the thing is that it was preferred for xim4 users to use their max. dpi possible but after the launch of xim-apex it is preferred to use 3500 dpi and off-course there are similarities between both devices so which is better 1200dpi or 3500 dpi?

if the turning speed is acceptable for you, choose a smaller DPI.(5000-12000dpi)
if you feel no delay, choose a smaller USB report rate.(250-1000hz)

these will give smoother and more steady aim.

3500 DPI might also be OK,
you may give it a try.

why choosing smaller report rate if there is no delay?isn't smaller polling rate will cause a delay theoretically then why even try??

any news about the new update that will allow us to write script macros as you promised

the delay, you feel in game, might come from many aspects,
internet delay, screen delay, mouse delay, etc

so if you do not feel the delay while choosing a smaller usb report rate,
the output from mouse will be accumulated.
that might bring better control for you.

But you can try and choose the most suitable usb report rate you like.
generally speaking, most of the users are using 500-1000 hz.

as for the macro, I do not know which is one you mentioned.
