ReaSnow Crosshair - No longer working on Nintendo Switch
« on: February 16, 2018, 07:05:47 PM »
Hey, ReaSnow, I'm here to report that my Crosshair no longer works on my Nintendo Switch today. It worked awhile back about 3 weeks ago as I was playing Splatoon 2 with no issues whatsoever, and it also works with my wireless keyboard (Logitech G613, and I know it's not part of the compatible hardware list but it still manages to work) and my wireless mouse (Logitech G703). Now, I tried doing Repair modes, Factory Reset, Updating Firmware, none of it seems to fix the issue.

When I connected my Crosshair to my Nintendo Switch (while both Splatoon 2 and Switch are active) I noticed my Crosshair LED went from Green, PURPLE, Blue and Red. After several cycles of those colors, it completely stops at Blue. That Purple LED wasn't there before when I connected my Nintendo Switch. It always goes from Green, then Blue and Red, and there's a beep sound and goes to Green breathing LED, as that's the color I set for Splatoon 2 setup.

So, is my ReaSnow Crosshair now defected? Software damaged? Hardware failed?

Based on your description, it might be some thing wrong the communication between cross hair and SWITCH.

here some suggestions for you:
1. power off SWITCH completely, and then power it on again
2. check the connection between cross hair and SWITCH, or try a new and qualified USB cable.
3. remove the SWITCH DOCK,
connect cross hair to SWITCH directly using a USB Type C To USB OTG adaptor.
4. make sure you have set your SWITCH correctly according to "Cross Hair  for Switch Instructions.pdf"
in "Cross Hair ManagerV4.5.10.zip"

if you still can't fix it , please send a video to us: support@reasnow.com

Hey, richard, thank you for replying back to me for this issue. Seems like Option 1 solved it immediately, shutting the Switch ENTIRELY off and then turn it back on, and I reconnect the Crosshair, and it works again! Thank you very much!
