G29 / Xbox One X / Forza Horizon 3 / H Shifter
« on: January 23, 2018, 07:51:03 AM »
The wheel is working great. I have it set up in "advanced" mode.

1) I haven't gotten the shifter working. Looking at the .pdf file, it looks like I should be able to "shift up" and "shift down" but that's it. No H shifting R-1-2-3-4. Is that correct? I'm about to tinker with it again.

2) The RPM gauge isn't working. That's the primary reason I chose G29 > G27 when I saw the Reasnow steering wheel .PDF that said it would work.

if you are using FH3's config, that is a legacy mode support,
for there is only +/- shift.

pease make sure you are using the lastest software,
which can be downloaded here:

and use "Expert Mode" wheel config for your game,
you will get H shifter, clutch, etc.
But force feedback is still under development

this topic might help you too:

My problem here was that when i mounted the steering wheel on the steering wheel stand, I accidently switched the switch on the steering wheel from PS4 to PS3. When I realized that, and switch it back to PS4, it's working well.

Do you have an ETA on force feedback support?

Also, the RPM gauge support is that for legacy only?
