input lag with mouse
« on: January 21, 2017, 02:23:43 PM »
I'm playing battlefield 1 on xbox1 with keyboard and mouse. There is input delay every time I stop my mouse but the crosshair on the screen will continue to move for may be 0.5 second.

After a lot of investigations, I think the deadzone setting in battlefield1 may the reason.

Please give advice for fixing this, thx.

1. delete all current configs and add battlefield 1's config in Xbox One platform in Cross Hair Manager.
2. leave it as default and save.
3. follow instructions in the pdf of this topic
http://www.reasnow.com/forum/index.php?topic=1433.0

if you still can not solve it yourself, we need more of your details:
1. mouse type and DPI and Report Rate settings
2. sensitivity settings in game, you can follow instructions below:

3. HIP/ADS of Cross Hair

My mouse is Logitech G102 and set with 6000dpi, 1000 report rate. The sensitivity settings in Battlefield1 are all maximum. With the higher HIP/ADS of Cross Hair, the input lag will be more serious. So my HIP/ADS are all below 5.

I think all of my settings are fine, I will have a try on deleting and recreating the configs.

we are not sure the lag you mentioned is due to the console game or not.
for their mechnism for operation is completely different from PC.

but we suggest you may try the xbox one controller itself, without Cross Hair, for a comparision.
push your right stick to its max position, and feel the effect on screen.

Hey I was having the same issue as you, with about a half a second mouse lag when I moved left or right. Not sure if it will fix your issue, but for me it was my TV. I didn't have it set to "game mode" under the picture settings on my TV. After switching it to game mode the lag went away, good luck!
