Hi!

Regarding WRC 5 for PS4, is there any Preset Game configuration that I may use to get a decent wheel control on the game (with my G27 wheel)?

Or if thereÂ´s no existing game profile that I may use, is it possible in future versions of the Manager, that this game may be included?

you should find no problem to use DriveClub's config for WRC5,
but remember to upgrade WRC5 to the latest version before that.

I tryed to use such configuration... I even tryed remapping the G27 defining a new button to duplicate the "Options" button from the DS4 controler, but the game will not pass the opening screen where is demmanded to press the "Options" button... it simply will not assume you are pressing that button... and as I said I tryed different buttons from my G27 using key remmaping...

Just to try to understand this issue, may you tell me which PS4 games from this list use the "Options" button for gameplay:
- Project Cars
- Dirt Rally
- Need For Speed
- The Crew
- Drive Club
- Assetto Corsa

(these are the games I own)

So I may check if this button/command is assumed when I use my G27 in any of them...

hi,
please kindly follow the instructions strictly and orderly:
1. make sure you are using the latest Cross Hair Manager V1.43.24 or later versions.
2. delete all the configs in your Cross Hair
3. add only DriveClud's config in it and save. do not change anything!
4. connect DS4 to USB PORT1 and your G27 to USB PORT2 or 3 of Cross Hair,
5. after that connect Cross Hair to PS4
6. power on your PS4 by the power button on the console, not the PS button on DS4.
(A breathing color means Cross Hair is working well)
PS4: i also posted a pic in this topic to show you the "options" key.

please try and let us know the result.

~Believe me or not, I did all that yesterday night... and the colour from the logo was like you said.. green and breathing... but neither the assigned button on the G27, nor the original "options" buton on the PS4 get any answer when pressed... (the game remains waiting... forever...)

But IÂ´l ltry all that again this night, also with the Drive Club Game... (which I own and havenÂ´t yet tryed it with Cross hair and G27)!!

Well.. it seems tha WRC 5 is not compatible with Cross Hair... pure and simple...

Tryed Drive Club without any problem... but same configuration will not start WRC5 as the "Options" button canÂ´t be activated...

, strangely as it may seem.

did you install this wrc5 from a CD?
have you upgade the game to the latest version through internet?

On this Game box, and booklet thereÂ´s no information about wheel controlers supported... IÂ´ve searched on Google for any information on this version and subject, and found nothing...

Strange is, that for the original WRC 5 version, G29 and a lot of wheels are supported!!

iÂ´ve searched along the preset games and I believe tat using Need For Speed 19 configuration, will let me start the game (Legacy Mode with a key already defined for emulating Options button)... as all remaining keys may be configured...

we had report from other user that wrc5 can recognise g29, but no info about your esport edition.
please make sure the esport edit wrc5 can support this wheel.

G29 is listed on this page for wrc5,
but we are not sure the difference the between your esprot edit and the original one.
just remember we have turned your g27 into a g29.

Honestly I found nothing about the Esports edition having any wheel controler compatibility.. pure and simple... regarding the in games menus nothing apears and if when using the Drive Club onfiguration for CrossHair it does not accept the "options" key input, IÂ´m led to conclude that it simply does not recognize the controller, or i this case the emulated G29 wheel...

our converter will work just as the same way as g29,
so other games like driveclub can recognise it.

Hi Richard!

Just to say that the Need for Speed 19 conifiguration worked like a charm!!! So I guess this game can only be played using Legacy Mode emulation...

Next IÂ´ll be trying WRC 6 PS4, and this one (I bet!!) must be compatible with advanced mode on some of the profiles already Preset!
