Expert mode doesn't show up.
« on: April 19, 2021, 06:43:13 AM »
I recently bougth the Reasnow S1. I've set it up for my g29 wheel on my Nintendo switch. I used the Mario Kart profile and things went great.

But I also have more games to try this on. As far as I understand if you turn "expert mode" or "professional mode" on you'll get the ability to add your own profiles right? And it should display a box under the wheel tab with a picture of the G29 on it to be able to create my own profile.

However even though the option is checked, the app is not displaying the "Expert Mode" when I go to the wheel tab. I only see the three or so profiles (Mario Kart, V-Rally, Grid).  Can anyone help?

I am using the latest version of the app downloaded from http://www.reasnow.com/forum/index.php?topic=2480.0

Thanks in advance!

Maybe I was confused as to what expert mode is. I believe I understand now.

But is there no way to create new profiles under the wheel tab for the NS with a G29 yet?

1. on SWITCH, there is no Expert Mode support.
for on this platform, only controller input can be accepted.
2. if more profiles for racing games in need, please just post them here.
will assess whether we can add them for you or not.

or you can just use profiles for Mario Kart, V-Rally, Grid,
they might also work for your games.

Richard, thank you for the speedy reply.

Follow up question, is there planned to make expert  mode available to switch later? I know you guys are busy implementing PS5 and all.  But it would be good to be able to create our own profiles with the wheel. I believe it can already be done through the joystick tab, but it would be neater and more effective if the wheel tab was available to us being that the wheel does work pretty well on the switch already.

I could use the profiles and maybe make copies, but then I would have a ton of Mario Kart, Grid images everywhere and it could be confusing.

In short, my question is....will wheel profiles be something that is future planned for switch or just simply a hard no?

Thank you for the time!

sorry, we are a bit confused here.
in our APP, the steering wheel tab is already available.
you can find 3 preset racing game configs there, GRID AutoSport, Mario Kart 8, V-Rally 4.

and why will you need many configs for the same game?

Sorry, let me stop calling it names maybe I'm not using them correctly.

The steering wheel tab has a few profiles built in already, that's great. But if I wanted to add more profiles (for other software) with different deadzone, FFB settings, etc, I would have to create them via the joystick tab correct?

you shall add a config for the steering wheel, such as GRID,
and then change its name and the parameters in this config.
