Input lag Dualshock PS4
« on: March 15, 2020, 09:32:51 PM »
Hi Richard!

I have noticed 1-1.5 seconds delay when I use connection of my second dualshock to Reasnow S1 via bluetooth method. Especially when I run it with macros. Can you advice on how to avoid that? On of a solution might be use of wired connection, however I need your input on this issue.

Please answer the following questions as many as possible,
so we can provide better support for you.

1. ReaSnow S1 firmware version/ APP version
2. your console and game
3. all the peripherals which are connected to ReaSnow S1
4. which config has been activated in ReaSnow S1 when you are facing this trouble
please export your config(rsc file) and send it to our email: support@reasnow.com

One DS4(Slim) on USB port 1, keyboard+mouse on USB port 2 and 3
and another DS4(Slim) connected by Bluetooth.
are these all the connected peripherals?

One PS4: the single port.
One keyboard: one left port.
One PS4: via bluetooth.

I have also noticed that this happens when I log into multiplayer online content, in the custom game there's no noticable lag.

There are two types of configs for macros: one for the game itself and the other for third party controllers. Which one is better to use for the PS4 dualshock? I think definitely the config developed for the specific game, right?

for controllers(gamepads), please stick to "Joysticks and Controllers", this config is for them.
the config for a dedicated game is for keyboard and mouse control.

sorry, no similar issue are found here.

to address your trouble, please reply the followings:
1. all your macros are triggered by R2, but R2 is a button on the DS4 controller which is connected to USB port 1 of S1,
so your wireless DS4 connected by BT will never trigger your macros.
2.  can you export the config(rsc file) not macro(rsm file), all macros will be included in it automatically.
3.  a video to show us your trouble will be better.
4.  you have 2 DS4(slim) controllers,
and one of them is connected to USB port 1 of S1 with a USB cable,
the other one is connected to S1 with BT, is that right?

Hi Richard!

Any progress on my request? If nothing is possible, I will use wired connection. However the future firmware needs to address that issue.

it turns out that we found no delay although are details are exactly as you said,
and in your config, F12 is used to switch on a macro,
but by default, F12 is used for changing sensitivities.
there might be a confict. but this will not bring delay too.

can you send a video to show your trouble, the delay?
