Request for next update
« on: June 01, 2018, 09:00:07 PM »
Hello.

I have found the CrossHair very useful, specially regarding to macros.
I have, however found that the maximum time a command can happen is limited to 10.000 ms. This can be a problem if the macro you are using involves a loading screen. The fix is simple: Just add another empty command with the extra time you need for the game to load.

Now here is the issue: When I run into a very complex macro ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVI3v1j4izA ) that involves fighting and turning and going somewhere to die and respawn, the 20 maxium command limit becomes a problem.

While 5 maxium operations per command it's just fine (I belive), having only 20 commands per macro might be way too little for very tedious farming tasks that you would preffer not to do, but that you could configure to auto farm.

For example, in the video above, that exact same sequence, made by an human and optimized, would take about 65 hours. My macro will probably take way longer time, maybe about 100-120 hours.

This is why I am requesting to increase the maximum ammount of commands per macro, even if the amount of macros is limited to 1, we can always back up and restore the macros, so the amount of macros is not really an issue.

Please take a look into it.

Thank you.

if you are using Cross Hair Manager V1.73.24,
MAX time for every line is 10000 ms (10 seconds),
MAX lines in one Macro is 20.

we can evaluate your suggestion,
but what is your specific request for these 2 settings?

and since macro can be executed repeatedly,
any time will not be a problem for you.

I am using this: Cross Hair ManagerV3.12.15_ForSWITCH.zip

The idea is to build long macros that will automate certain combats over and over again. Toggle function is great, but this limits the complexity of the battle to 20 lines MAX. Also, some lines might need more time than just 10.000ms, for loading times, for example.

As you saw in the video below, the macro works as expected, for a very small and easy fight. But if more than 1 attack is needed, more lines are needed. Also, after defeating a few enemies, I jump over a small fence to load again all the enemies.

The macro you see in that video is the following:

As you can see, I maxed out the lines. While the MAX time for everytime is not important to be increased, it is important that I can have more lines to work with to create very complex macros.

My request would be:
1) New MAX time for every line: 99.999 ms (99.99 seconds)
2) New MAX line in one macro: 99. (999 lines would just be fantastic)

Thank you.

these limitations are due to the limited resource in Cross Hair.
Currently, only Cross Hair Manager V4.X.X can support 67 lines and 10000 ms.
but we can easily expand the 10000ms to 65000ms.

Well, that extra time would be nice, and the extra lines too. Could you give those extra features to the next release of Cross Hair ManagerV3.12.15_ForSWITCH?

Since there are limitations to the resources in Cross Hair device, I have thought that maybe you could add a feature to link different macros by adding the possibility to press a keyboard button binded to a macro instead of a controller button:
Press keybind (Num8) to start macro (1)
1) Do macro (1), then go to macro (2) [autopress keybind (Num 9)]
2) Do macro (2), then go to macro (3) [autopress keybind (Num 0)]
3) Do macro (3), then go to macro (1) [autopress keybind (Num 8)]

This way I can still get a longer macro by combining longer macros. Then press END key to stop all macros.

Thanks for the suggestion!
but Cross Hair Manager V3.x.x can't hold this new update.

Your request can only be fulfilled in Cross Hair Manager V4.X.X or later versions.

We are planning a complete solution,
2000 seconds for one line,
1000 lines for one macro.

These are not our official plan, only estimated ones from R&D team.

So then should I update my CrossHair device to the V4 version? I only plan to use it for the Nintendo Switch, this is the reason I was using the Nintendo Switch specific one.

I belive that in order for me to be able to use the V4, I need to use the upgrade tool in my device first, correct?

Does the current V4.5.16 CrossHair Manager support nintendo Switch?

Thank you.

find the “upgrade tool” here:
http://www.reasnow.com/forum/index.php?topic=25.0

and follow the instructions in the zip file carefully.

your cross hair can be upgraded to use Manager V4.X.X.

you can have better Macro support with this Manager.
