Profile rainbow six

Sorry, but this profile is not one of the best for the game (xbox one).

Would it be possible to make a preset with a deadzone value of 5?

I know this is not the game standard, but it would probably solve a lot of problems with diagonal movements and '' sticky look ''

how do you know it will solve the problems with diagonal movements and "sticky look" if we set deadzone to 5?
BTW, can you explain the "sticky look" problem for us?

'' Sticky aim '' heavy movement when in ads

More deadzone = higher inputlag in mouse movement and greater sticky look.

In bf4 for example crosshair works perfectly, in COD as well.

In R6 there is some problem with diagonal movements and input lag.

hi, we tested Rainbow 6 on xbox one, and we found no similar problems you mentioned.
the following are our conditions:

1. Rainbow 6 settings:
Vertical Sensitivity: 100
Horizontal Sensitivity: 100
Left Stick Deadzone: 10 (default)
Right Stick Deadzone: 10 (default)
Aim Down Sights: 100

2. Cross Hair settings:
Rainbow 6 CONFIG enabled
HIP=10(default)
ADS=10(default)
All others = default

3. Mouse Logitech G502, 12000dpi, 1000hz

please set yours accordingly and give us a feedback.

I have already tested these settings, however it is notable that there is a delay and jerky movements result in completely lost movements.

I test with a prodigy g403 at 12000 dpi

Is it possible to send the preset with 5 deadzone for me to test?

I have used other mouse and keyboard adapters and the rainbow six in reasnow crosshair seems less fluid than lower technology adapters such as max shooter.

This probably occurs through the preset using 10 in the deadzone, because by my tests and presets of friends and available on the internet a lower deadzone provides lighter movements and less input lag.

we have tested R6 on Xbox One many times since your first report,
no similar problem found.

please do not think you are using a stick, you are using a mouse for aiming by Cross Hair's translation.
and we have mapped the mouse's movement to stick movement with the deadzone in consideration.

if your deadzone=5, and the input=6, the game will give you a MIN speed.
if your deadzone=10, and the input=11, the game will also give you the same MIN speed.

so whatever your choice is, you will gain all the necessary speeds from MIN to MAX,
and all these speeds(from MIN to MAX) are controlled by the movement of your mouse, not a stick.
the MIN mouse speed will correspond to the MIN game speed.

we do suggest you should restore all the settings to their defaults,
and change them according to our instructions.

and one more thing, you could try setting your mouse DPI to 6000, and set HIP/ADS=20,
some mouse can not maintain the highest performance continously.

or you can shot a video and send it to support (at) reasnow . com
to show us your trouble.

I found an alternative to significantly improve this factor.

I changed the Dpi from my mouse to 800 (yes, very low I know), and this helped to eliminate strange moves and looks sticky / heavy aim.

In part this is due to the fact that the game presets with 10 HIP and 10 ADS are very high for 12000 dpi.
The sensitivity scale of this device works best (more similar to competitors) at a lower dpi.

although 800 dpi is really very small, but we are glad to see you can find a suitable setting you like.
