yes, you can select manual gear in game, and use +/- shift as a controller can be.
in fact, currently all converters can only have your G27 work as a controller on Xbox One,
so there will be no big difference.

i mean the h shifter not the padels on the wheel

since no converter can make g27 be recognised as a real wheel on xbox one,
so xbox one will not active h shift communication with the device plugged in,
h shift feature of maxrace f1 can only be a mimic one,
basically it can only use +/- shift to mimic a h shift,
and you might find some problems while using it.

we do not like to add an imperfect feature to lower our standard.

so what about the expert mode for the xb one

we tried to add expert mode for xbox one for a long time,
but it's really hard, we find no way to solve it.
and to this day, as we know, there is no other converter can accomplish this task.
