I would like to know whats the difference between legacy and expert mode? Can you use g27 on Forza horizon 2 via custom game because its not on the game preset list? is there going to be FH2 game preset or Forza 6? i really need answers to these questions so i know if i should buy this or titan one or someother converter

In expert mode, you G27 will work as a real wheel on console.
In legacy mode, you G27 will work as a controller on consol, as other converters generally do.
So there is a big difference.

If you like to try G27 on FH2, you should choose FORZA5 's config.
But it will only work in legacy mode.

As for Forza 6, we are still working on it, you may wait for the update.

yes, we are working to provide more and more expert-mode games, Forza is definitely in our list.

Hi, I have a few questions related to G27 support.
1) The manual says it supports clutch but on the video review from ITXtutor he was able to manual shift gears without hitting the clutch pedal, was that some error from previous firmware and already fixed?
2) From the above reply I understand there is the expert mode and legacy mode where legacy just emulates a controller, is there any plan or due date to be released an expert mode for FH2?
3) What about the expert mode for Forza 6? is there an expected release date? I just want to have an idea if it would be a matter of weeks or months

1. yes, cross hair can provide clutch support. the clutch signal will be sent to the game.
   but the game(Drive Club) do not limit the shift of gears based on the clutch status.
   you may try Project Cars, in this game, you will need to hit the cluth for shifting.
2/3. we will add more and more games into the expert mode game list, that is our goal.
   forza series are good games in XBOX, we have noticed that, and will put them in the list
   as soon as possible. That may be the beinning of the next year.

we will add more and more games into the export mode list, forza 6 and FH2 will be in the waiting list,
but they will be added one by one. it takes lots of time to do that:)

Hi,

I'm planing to buy Reasnow Cross Hair from Amazon UK. but before i do, can someone confirm that i will be able to to use G27 with Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox360 ?
I used previously Thrustmaster 458 Italia Edition for Xbox 360, will i get same or nearly close experience with G27 + CrossHair + Xbox360 ?

sorry , we can not proivde expert mode support for your game right now.

but we may still try using the config of "NFS:Hot Pursuit" for the FH2,
which works in legacy mode.
you will have to make some keymappings for these two games are different.

and legacy mode can not provide the same experience like expert mode.

By saying same experience you mean no manual gear shift, crapy FFB and no 900 degrees rotation?

if you means FH2, there will be no manual gear, FFB is OK, but FFB in legacy mode will not be as good as in expert mode.
and your G27 will not be the same angle as the wheel in the game if it's in legacy mode.
