PS2 compatibility?

I know it is not currently a target console, but has anyone successfully gotten S1 to work with a PS2? I'd love to be able to use my Thrustmaster HOTAS with my PS2. The Brook Wingman almost gets me there, but I can't reprogram the buttons.
