Problem xbox series S push button centtal X
« on: August 15, 2024, 12:05:31 PM »
bonjuor, I was playing Xbox Series S normally with the S1 plugged in when suddenly, when pressing the central button on the X controller, the start tab no longer opens and only the mode turns off/restarts the console. I updated to the latest beta version and it's still the same thing. can you help me? att,

Austin

Please answer the following questions as many as possible,
so we can provide better support for you.

1. ReaSnow S1 firmware version/ APP version
2. your console and game
3. When did you purchase this ReaSnow S1?
Does it ever work properly?
4. The color and state(breathing or stable) of the LED indicator on ReaSnow S1 when you are in trouble?
do you hear any continuous beeps? how many beeps do you hear in one cycle?
5. Which peripherals are connected to ReaSnow S1? please provide the specific model and producer.
PS: All peripherals should be connected to ReaSnow S1 first, before connecting it to a game console.
6. Do you see any indication on the screen of your console during the trouble?
7. which config has been activated in ReaSnow S1 when you are facing this trouble?
8. a video to show us your trouble
please upload the video to youtube or other file-sharing servers, and send us the URL.

1 Firmware V5.6.178
2 series S
3 buy s1 in 2020, works perfectly except for this problem mentioned.
4 light on according to the game profile at the time I'm playing
5 mouse g502 e controle xbox series s
6 no
7 mw3 and warzone
8 I don't have a way to make a video. But I was playing without having this problem on the center button of the Xbox Series S controller. I think it started to appear after I added the Dead Island 2 game profile to it. but this is an assumption. I deleted this profile but the problem continues. When I press the central button, it does not open the side tab of the Xbox options, but rather the options to turn off the console as if I had held down the central button.
Thanks

1. You can reset your ReaSnow S1 to factory default status. See if this issue still happens.
2. Do you have another controller? If you have, you can try using another controller
3. Will this issue happen if you use this controller to control your XSS by wire/wireless?

please enable I/O monitor to check all the ins and outs of S1,
maybe you can find something in it.

I set the factory defaults and it was more stable, but it doesn't work normally, it's really a problem with the S1. because the control directly connected to xss does not present this error. Even in other game profiles, the same error occurs when pressing the central button on the controller. Playing on PS5 doesn't happen.

I turned on the button monitor in the resnow app. I noticed that when pressing the central button on the xss control repeatedly, it sometimes gets pressed by the app monitoring. As I said, connected directly to the console, it does not present this problem, so I believe it is not the control itself. I believe it to be a bug in the s1, as it apparently improved when I returned to factory defaults, but the problem did not disappear, it just got smaller.

Did you upgrade your controller's firmware before? Which version of controller firmware are you using?
