How to change key mapping with a controller?
« on: July 23, 2019, 11:39:34 AM »
I want to use a third party controller with my Cross Hair for Nintendo Switch, but it does not allow you to customize the key mappings using controllers?

  • Cross Hair is plugged into computer
  • Dance Pad is plugged into computer
  • Xbox One Controller is plugged into computer
  • I have the Cross Hair Manager open

I made a custom game for the switch:

When I click on Switch controller key to change the button it says:

So I press a button on my controller and it does nothing! It only allows input from Keyboard or Mouse, not from my Dance Pad or even Xbox One controller!

How can I change the key to work with one of my controllers? I want to use my dance pad on the Switch to play Cadence of Hyrule!

you need to try the following way for mapping:
Plug peripherals(keyboard, mouse, wheel, controller, flight stick, etc) into USB ports 2 and 3 of Cross Hair,
leave USB port 1 of Cross Hair open,
and then plug Cross Hair into PC, and press their buttons when you see "press any button"
