« on: December 05, 2016, 11:53:33 PM »
Hello guys, how everything is going?

I'm new here and I'm with a small difficult to adapt to the mouse and keyboard gameplay style.

So I thought it would be nice to come here and ask ou guys what is the best configuration for playing Rainbow Six Siege with crosshair.

DPI, Crosshair configuration, in game settings, anything goes.

Hope you guys can help me out, I'm new here and I'm looking foward to get use to it.

Thanks!

generally the preset config is tested under 12000 dpi mouse, so hip and ads need no change for such a mouse.
for key mappings, just check the default settings for PC version

set your game on console like the following:

Vertical Sensitivity: 100
Horizontal Sensitivity: 100
Left Stick Deadzone: 10 (Default)
Right Stick Deadzone: 10 (Default)
Aim Down Sights: 100

Aim down sight 100????? are you sure Richard??? i agree with the 100 100 10 10 but 100 aim down sight sounds a bit strange....also these are the settings inside the game but what settings to you have on the cross hair?

thank you

i need some help understanding this because basically we have 3 settings...we have the mouse DPI settings (to be set on the pc with the mouse app....for example i use a RAZER mouse so i can set the DPI anything between 0 and 10000 DPI, the guide says to set it to 5600 DPI) then we have the settings within the Cross Hair software program on the pc and then last but not least we have the settings within the game.....WOW that is a lot of things to tweak when you are trying to find the best setting....can someone give me some guidance? i don't want to spin 360 if i move the mouse of a cm but i also don't want to move my arm to the end of the table to aim at someone ahahahaha

thank you for any advice

in fact, it's very simple to accomplish this task. there 3 things to do.
1. set your mouse DPI to MAX
2. set 5 sensitivities in game to MAX
3. set Cross Hair's HIP/ADS as low as possible
in this way, you will get the best result.

BTW, if you still feel too fast, after changing HIP/ADS,
you may set sensitivities in game a bit smaller.

In this way, you will harness all the potientials of your mouse and game,
and will gain some advantage too.

thank you for the reply Richard, so at n.2 you said set the 5 sensitivities in game to MAX....but what about the dead zones of the left stick and right stick? those should be to MIN correct? i keep them around 10 (on a scale from 1 to 100)

thank you again

just leave deadzone as default, our Inteligent Engine builded in the config will deal with it for you.
