Forza Horizon 2 - XBox one
« on: August 08, 2016, 07:22:42 AM »
Hello there.

i buy a Cross Hair, and want to play Forza Horizon II with the Device.
I use a Logitech G27 Wheel.

i made the Update and Firmware Update, and choose the Profile: "Forza Horizon 2"
but the problem is:

i can use my Wheel, okay, but this is not driving, this is "moving without any grip".
The Wheels direkt to slow, and the feeling is not that, i know from my Wheel.
So i think, something goes wrong.

i wrote here, that the Wheel from the Cross Hair is known as a "Controler".
I see this to, in my Device List on XBox, but that is wrong.
The left and right Directions are not to drive this way, also the Death Zone is massive to big.
And for every way you need to react fast, you will be drift or never come back to control your Vehicle.

This time, the Game is not to play with this Settings.

i test a lot of things, like:
- bigger Angels
- smaller Angels
- 0 up to 15 in Death Zone
i change the Settings in game to,
but nothing help :(

Is there any way known to fix this
or a time known, a new update will setup my Wheel for Wheel, not for Gamepad ?
because: a Gamepad always reacts only analog from axes to axes, not like
a Wheel, it s a complete different thing.

i want to have a Fix for this,
because. is only reason for the Cross Hair here, i do  not use Mouse or Keyboard
and do not play other games than Forza Horizon 2 ( and 3 soon i hope )
but with this controls like today, i need to play with Gamepad, because:
it s not playable.

so all this money for the Cross hair, does no sence here this time :(

i happy to hear from you.

PS sorry for my bad english, i am german.

Hi RustyNail,

Glad to hear from you.
Sorry for your experiences during the usage.
Your report is noted.

We believe what you need is Expert Mode wheel support on XBox One,
which we are still working on it, but it's delayed due to some obstacles.

In Expert Mode, your g27 will be recognized by console as a real wheel not a a controller.
But we now can only provide this feature on PS4.

And we can not provide a specific date for Expert Mode on Xbox One in current situation.

Sorry again for that.

hm :(

That is very bad to hear.
Forza Horizon 3 will release in September 27th ( early acess for 23th)
So i want to explore this nice new world with my Wheel to.

It s nice that you make some Connector for the XBos, for Keyboard and Mouse, but you should type in
your offer.
"No wheel support this time"

maybe: the Wheel is found (as controler) but a "controler that is found" is not a "controler you can play with"
so is not the nicesd News :(

for typical, i want to keep my byed things, but i think, here i should give back it to the Seller.
i have no usage for a Device, i only can put in the Corner, and wait for the Day "X" maybe never comes.

i read a lot of posts here, all want to have a real wheel support,
all hear the same: "We do expert mode" but nothing new comes to this.

hm.
i understand your Situation, but it s 130 € the Device
that is not fun, that is big money, for such a small chest....

and for me this time, it is absolutly 100% useless :(
i am sorry, but in this case, i give it back, i hope you can understand this.

Hi RustyNail,

Yes, Forza Horizon 3 and GT Sports are both on our To-Be-Supported list.

But under current situation, we have no specific date for the Expert Mode support on X1.
Although we have fulfill the Expert Mode support on PS4, which is in the leading position compared to other converters.
There is still some distance to cover before we can do that on X1.

You can return your device to the seller,
there should be no problem.

However, we value all your and others' responses.

I also went through the same problem, my crosshair is unused since the day I bought it, I already missed the deadline to return because I thought it was really possible an expert mode. The moderator said that they were not finding problems develop and was a matter of time, now I see that yes, there was problems!

Seems there is some misunderstanding there.

All details of our support of wheels are stated clearly in the following topic.
http://www.reasnow.com/forum/index.php?topic=1517.0

We declared the support of Expert Mode only on PS4,
never metioned we can support that on Xbox console.

But there is really a demand of that support in our forum,
so we decided to fulfill that feature,
which is really not a easy case.
however we will stick to this task.

If we do not state it clearly,
we are so sorry for that,
which bring your inconvenience and lost of money.

We will update our document to avoid this misunderstand when we release the new version.

who read the manual before you buy the product? sellers do not know the product, this is the problem! when I bought thought to return, but you told me you were working on it and you guys were finding no problem in developing expert mode. sorry for my english.

That is Point Nr.1

but i have an other Problem to, with this thing:

and this is: It writes all about that XBox is compatible. Nothing wrote for "work not really good" or "works only keyboard and Mouse".

The next is:
"We work at Expert mode"
Okay, really nice that this is "work in progress"

but the Problem is:
this is WIP since ??? 2014 ?

Last firmeware Update is years ago...

Hi All,

Your posts will be recorded and noted.
We will make the statement for wheel support more clearly.

And we will put more energy in doing the upgrade.

But for the support of Expert Mode on Xbox console,
we just began the job about 1-2 month ago.
Please kindly show some patience,
we love to bring this into reality,
but we need more time to find the right way, the good solution.

hm.

okay, in this case, i give you Time, and wait with my device here.
It s not the nicest way, because:

... last update 2014
and words are ... not so much

but, if you can do the XBox Wheel support, i think, you will have  a LOT !!!!!!! of ppl
buy your Device, because:

the G27 is the best Wheel / Price segment on the market.
It is gone.
The G590 is a robbing off ( Shifter is sperate 50 Euro, Wheel is 330 Euro, so higher than G27 complete,
6 buttons lower, and a lot of PC Players, have a good G27, and do not want 2 Wheels, only for Xbox
and on PC in my Case:
i do not buy a Wheel with 7 buttons lesser, for 330 Euro
if i have a full compatible, perfect PC Wheel, with exactly the same Technik inside
with 7 buttons more, and a shifter at side.

... nobody can really so stupid.
So:
if you can make this compatible, you will have a big amount of Custumers.... trust me...

Hi RsutyNail,

We share the same idea.

So don't worry, we will try out best to bring it into reality so long as it's in the range of our competence.
